Issues related to Auto Flight and/or Modes FS9 - Vertical Profile seems not to be working - (February 09) In some situations Flight Simulator seems to have the command active but the response is not what you expect, if this is the case, simply RESET the A/P by switching OFF all the commands, including Auto Flight and then start selecting the commands needed, this will make Flight Simulator get a fresh start on A/P. FS9 - I cannot engage NAV1 mode - (February 09) The MD11 will automatically engage NAV1 mode if a flight plan is present within Flight Planner, if for any reason once you select NAV mode the AP does not follow your route, you can activate this mode manually by right clicking on the right side of NAV button, not on top of it but in the near right end of this button, this will come up with NAV1 mode engaged and magenta colored command.
